Ryan Reynolds' quick wit nearly got him a one-way ticket to jail during the filming of Just Friends in Regina, Saskatchewan. In a recent appearance on Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, Reynolds recounted how he and the art department crafted a cheeky sign reading, "Welcome to Regina, which rhymes with fun," and attached it over the city's official welcome sign. The playful stunt was initially perceived as vandalism, leaving Reynolds genuinely concerned about facing legal consequences.
However, the situation took a turn when local officials saw the humor in the prank. Reynolds shared,
"They thought it was funny because it snapped off. So at first it was vandalism, and then it was class."

Conan O'Brien humorously added, "Then it was an art installation that could come down."
Despite the initial scare, Reynolds' reputation and the temporary nature of the sign likely played a role in the lighthearted resolution. This incident isn't an isolated one for Reynolds. He's known for his elaborate pranks, including a long-standing feud with actor Hugh Jackman. From fake award season attack ads to public trolling with his wife, Blake Lively, Reynolds' sense of humor knows no bounds.
