After the resounding success and multiple Oscar nominations for Anora, many wondered if this triumph would mark the peak of Russian actor Yuri Borisov’s international career. But the answer turned out to be more than clear: no, he hasn’t disappeared — on the contrary, he’s steadily climbing even higher on the global stage. At the 2025 Golden Trailer Awards, The Poet (Lit.The Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin), in which Borisov plays the central role, received the prestigious award for Best Foreign Poster.
Another Russian project with a powerful social message, Deti Peremen (Children of Change), was also recognized, winning Best Foreign Teaser, proving that Russian cinema speaks a universal language the world understands.
Adding to the pride was the success of the trailer for Nuremberg, which was awarded Best Foreign Dramatic Trailer. TNT4, the channel that released the trailer, also won for Best Foreign TV Spot and Most Original TV Spot (for Masterfully Crafted Movies).

The absolute standout of the ceremony was 28 Years Later, which took home three major awards, including Trailer of the Year. Meanwhile, Severance claimed five awards, and both Wicked and The Sinners walked away with four each.
Amid high-profile Western premieres, Russian productions — including those starring Borisov — are making an increasingly powerful impression. Yuri Borisov isn’t just staying in the game — he’s stepping onto the world stage with confidence, artistry, and poise.
