In what has been termed a "meganimation deal," Fox has also approved four new seasons of Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, and American Dad!, the latter making a return after an 11-year hiatus.
According to Deadline, each of the new seasons will consist of 15 episodes, which is fewer than the usual 22-episode order but preferred by the broadcasting network.
Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, remarked on the renewals:
"This new deal celebrates the timeless appeal of these iconic comedies and our enduring relationship with 20th Television Animation and its brilliant creators —especially Seth this time around — and the incredible voices behind these contemporary classics."
Rob Wade, CEO of Fox Entertainment, added:
"The longevity of this agreement reaffirms our commitment to the successful partnership we've built with Disney. This collaboration continues to generate meaningful long-term value and strategically build audiences from Fox to Hulu and beyond."
