The trailer for Nobody 2 has arrived, and it’s clear Hutch Mansell isn’t done breaking bones just yet. Bob Odenkirk returns as the deadly everyman in this sequel to the 2021 surprise hit, now directed by Timo Tjahjanto, known for his hyper-violent style in The Night Comes for Us. This time, Hutch is dragged back into action during a family vacation gone wrong — and judging by the trailer, the sequel trades the grey industrial look of the original for a hotter, more vibrant palette.
Odenkirk co-wrote the script with Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem, promising another chapter of methodical mayhem. Sharon Stone joins as Lendina, a crime boss with sharp heels and a grudge, while returning cast members Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, and RZA reprise their roles. New faces include Colin Hanks, John Ortiz, and Mckenna Grace.
Nobody began as a spiritual cousin to Taken, but with Odenkirk’s understated grit and a growing ensemble of killers, Nobody 2 looks set to bring even more bite to the aging-assassin genre — and maybe a few twisted laughs along the way.
