She made us believe in Christmas miracles, Irish wishes, and charming secrets. But Lindsay Lohan isn’t planning to live in a Netflix romcom forever — she’s got other dreams to chase. And if there’s one thing about Lohan, it’s that when she says she’s manifesting something, the universe tends to listen.
"It was really Netflix. And I was manifesting it," she told Elle’s Chloe Fineman in a conversation that felt more like a peek inside a vision board than your usual celeb interview. "During COVID, I was like, 'I want to work with Netflix'. I kept writing it in my journal and saying it. And then that’s what happened."
Three sparkly, soft-focus films later — Falling for Christmas, Irish Wish, and Our Little Secret — she’s grateful, but ready to stretch. "I can’t do movies like these forever" she admits. "Okay, now we need to be thinking about other stuff."

Still, those fluffy films weren’t just filler. "I always want[ed] to make movies like that — things that make people happy and bring people together," she explains. "I love making movies for that reason — for people to escape and find something that they can take into their own life and realize everything's going to be okay."
And what’s next on the dream docket? “I definitely want to do my first feature back with Disney,” she says, already conjuring her next chapter.
