The runtime for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has been announced, making it the longest Marvel movie in over two years. According to AMC Theatres, the film will run for 2 hours and 10 minutes, the longest since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023. That film was 2 hours and 30 minutes, but recent MCU entries have been slightly shorter. Thunderbolts* , released earlier this month, is 2 hours and 6 minutes, while Captain America: Brave New World from February is 1 hour and 58 minutes. Last year's Deadpool & Wolverine was 2 hours and 8 minutes, and The Marvels from 2023 was only 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Fantastic Four marks the MCU debut of Marvel’s First Family, with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (the Thing). They face off against Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson, and his herald Silver Surfer (Julia Garner), who threaten to devour their world.
The cast also includes John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and WandaVision’s Matt Shakman directing.
